California State Contractor Licensing requires that ALL qualifying individuals must pass the standard Business and Law test.There are two parts to the examination process (Business and Law Exam and a Trade Exam):
Qualifying individuals must pass the Law and Business test and, with the exception of the C-61 Limited Specialty Classification, a second test covering the specific trade or certification area for which they are applying.
